measurements in metric terms; if original measurements were made in another system, include these parenthetically. Plot audiograms according to ISO standards. Use generic names whenever possible. The author is responsible for all statements in the paper, as approved on the copyedited and typeset proofs. Alterations made by the author after the paper has been typeset may be charged to the author.
  • All submissions require a Title Page. The Title Page must include: (1) a concise but informative title, worded to facilitate indexing; (2) authors’ full names, academic degrees, affiliations, and addresses; (3) statement of grant or other support; (4) name, address, telephone and fax numbers, and e-mail address of corresponding author; and (5) name and address of author to whom reprint requests should be sent, if different from the corresponding author.

Authorship Criteria

  • Authorship credit should be based only on substantial contributions such as the following: Concept and design of the study, the definition of intellectual content, literature search, clinical studies, experimental studies, data acquisition, data analysis and interpretation, statistical analysis, manuscript preparation, manuscript editing and manuscript review and Final approval of the version to be published.
  • One author should take responsibility for the integrity of the work as a whole from inception to published article and should be designated as the 'corresponding author '.
  • The order of naming the contributors should be based on the relative contribution of the contributor towards the study and writing the manuscript. Once submitted the order cannot be changed without written consent of all the contributors. The journal prescribes a maximum number of authors for manuscripts depending upon the type of manuscript, its scope, and the number of institutions involved (vide infra). The authors should justify if the number of authors exceeds these limits.

  • All authors of must disclose all conflicts of interest they may have with the publication of the manuscript or an institution or product that is mentioned in the manuscript and/or is important to the outcome of the study presented. Authors should also disclose conflicts of interest with products that compete with those mentioned in their manuscript.
